Home entertainment by the hand of tourism enterprises
This article explains that many tourism enterprises are keeping the contact with their clients, creating activities for kids and adults to help them go through these hard quarantine times. But, why do they do it if it is not their job?
The idea is keep in touch with the clients, even if they are not going to book anything with them right now, to remind clients that they will still be there when the things get stabilized, clients will remember them and start booking again. It is a long view strategy, but I think it is a smart movement from tourism enterprises instead of being just observers of the disaster.

Travelling for me is pushing myself out of the comfort zone and going into the unknown. It broadens your mind and gives you experience only you have. The trip to Cuba gave me a lot of first time experience. From buying and smoking my first cigar and exploring the history of that amazing country. If it wasn’t for that trip I would never find my love for cigars and that is the point of travelling for me. It’s not about the short term experience that travelling provides but about the long term experience that changes you for the rest of your life. (May, 2020)
I have lost my job at a hotel in March at the beginning of the crisis. Now during summer I am going to work at a surfing school and I am not sure if there are going to be enough guests and how it is possible to work there with the students respecting the hygiene concepts. But it was also hard to study during the crisis because we did not have any course at university but only online. It was hard for me to stay focused at these times and not seeing my friends and colleges to get physical support. Furthermore, it was difficult for me that our freedom got limited and we could not move like we usually do. (June, 2020)
I have two points: one is that because of the drecreasing economic, it will be very difficult to find a job after I finish university next year. The other one is that we want to rebuild our economic as fast as possible and substainability will be forgotten. Anf of course the health of my family. (October, 2020)

For the individual properties, it came down to providing refunds and vouchers for another stay to guests who had already booked for the next few months, as we know they won't be allowed to come stay due to state laws. As a company, we want to keep our employees safe and healthy as well, so telling the ones who can work to work from home. Keeping honest and open communication between the higher-ups and the employees about the status of the company, their working timeline, and honestly anything they have questions and concerns about.
